Eat Street Northshore’s KombiAlley Drive-Thru Dessert Festival has to be one of the most exciting ventures to come to Brisbane in 2020. Debuting this Friday the 18th, you’ll be able to jump in your car with your besties and coast through this dessert land, while having goodies delivered through your car window! Cruise under stunning fairy-light domes as you order from a broad selection of mouth-watering desserts that will have your sweet tooth aching for more! You’ll receive a number for your order as you wait and every order with a “9” in it will even be blessed with a free treat, because hey, you deserve it! WOOHOO! Brisfest is here and they are bringing with them some seriously insane performances. With multiple outdoor events to choose from, you can join in on Friday’s free social distanced dance club (wear your best disco-themed outfit). Or if you’d rather watch the talent, enjoy an incredible performance from the Australasian Dance Collective as they “capture the odyssey of the human spirit” and “reflect our journey from isolation to reconnection.” There’s plenty of intimate street concerts also on offer for muso-enthusiasts. Still not excited? To replace the annual firework display, our skies are being treated to a month-long laser beam installation! Every weekend of the festival, Brisbane’s skyline is taken over by an electric laser display that has us looking up for more! Sit back in the comfort of your own home as the sky is transformed into a piece of art. Don’t worry, the light will be visible from numerous vantage points across Brisbane, so the night is yours to enjoy!
