Held in two of the river city’s most spectacular parklands, South Bank and Roma Street, The Sound Society celebrates slowing down, great tunes, good company and Brisbane’s gorgeous climate. All performances are set among towering, leafy trees and are pulsing with chill vibes – perfect for catching up with the pals or as a fresh solo outing.
Of course, there’s nothing better than food to go with your groove. Bring along your favourite picnic snacks or grab a bite to eat at the many nearby South Bank eateries. If you’re at Roma Street Parkland, you can hit up The Garden Room and pre-order a hamper filled with local produce to munch on.
The Sound Society at South Bank is held every Friday 4-6pm and every Saturday 2-5pm until mid-December at either Rainforest Green or River Quay.
At Roma Street Parkland, The Sound Society is held on the first Sunday of every month from 11am to 2pm. Upcoming dates are November 1, December 6 and January 3.
